Shadow work makes you a more whole mother

Before doing shadow work my core parenting values were really quite lopsided! I knew I wanted to parent with unconditional love, gentleness and compassion, I knew I wanted to give so, so much to my children, to celebrate them and allow them to shine.... And when I wouldn’t always show up like that (and would often show up faaaar from like that) I’d give myself a really hard time.

And when I integrated the shadows within me that had me totally lose it at my children and found the gifts within the anger, rage, violence and crazyness... I discovered that I also really really value self respect, self honour, self responsibility and empowerment yet those things were not visible, let alone available to me before I did shadow work.
